904 SUMMER ADVENTURES BUCKET LIST

Ahhh Summer, the most wonderful time of the year! Winter is finally over, and now our days can be spent wearing bathing suits, soaking up the sunshine, swimming in the ocean, and taking fun adventures around the 904.

If you thought this post was going to be a list of 904 summer activities… Im sorry, it’s not. I do have a post here called 20 cheap summer activities, with a generic list of adventures you can take no matter where you live.

This list is about summer adventures to take if you live in, or around the 904, Jacksonville, Florida area. (this is also kind of my summer bucket list.)

I broke the list up into 5 subcategories:

  1. Events
  2. Camping
  3. Exploring
  4. Places
  5. Beach Stuff

Hopefully you can check some of these activities off your summer bucket list!

22. TAKE 2 TRIPS OUT OF THE STATE

I LOVE FLORIDA, but every once in a while its refreshing to switch up the scenery. The worlds is full of insanely beautiful places to immerse yourself in, and explore. It doesn’t necessarily have to be 2 trips out of the state, but that just what we have planned right now. Mexico, and Whistler Canada! I can’t wait to soak up all the culture of these two totally different countries.  If you plan accordingly traveling doesn’t have to be this expensive unattainable idea. ( Ill write a post about that later.)

28. ENJOY BACKYARD POPSICLES

I noticed a few months ago (while it was still cold outside) that a popsicle shop opened up down the street from where we live. The shop is locally owned and operated, and the pops are made with fresh ingredients and organic sugar. They offer strange and unique flavors such as, peach jalapeño, strawberry balsamic, and PB&J, as well as traditional popsicle flavor favorites. I can’t wait to try them all this Summer!
